Here’s my card for the hop:
This card is actually a very simple one, but it lets the focus be on the gorgeous Zero Waste Cover Die that is part of this release.
Tips & Techniques:
I cut the cover die out of a light blue-green cardstock, and then mounted it on a darker teal base that is just a little bit bigger.
I decided that the jellyfish was going to be my featured creature, so I ran the die through again over a small piece of Sparking Water Glitter Cardstock (from the Shimmering Shore pack). That gave me the jellyfish and some of the bubbles in the sparkle.
Even though this is a relatively flat card, It shows off four layers!
After choosing some of the shapes to let the dark teal show through, I them added the other inlay shapes back in. I did this for the ones I wanted to add the glitter cardstock to also, and then glued the glitter pieces on top of that so they have more dimension.
When I added the stamped greeting (stamped in ink that matches the background color), I added it with the 1/16” thick foam tape behind it so that adds another layer.
Thank you for visiting! I’ll be adding more cards from this release, and I hope you get some time to create something soon.
